Two new employees
Please welcome two new employees at AC Marine.
To assist and prepare a generational handover in 2013 Joke van Beusekom and
Erik Lauridsen, AC Marine has employed Lars Michaelsen and Tim Ziegler. Lars
and Joke will work with the customers while Tim will help Erik with the
daily shipments to our customers worldwide.
Like Joke, Lars has a background as a professional athlete. Lars has been a
professional cyclist for 14 seasons, and since 2007 a Senior Manager with
Team Saxo Bank. As a professional cyclist Lars had 25 international
victories, the leader’s jersey in Tour of Spain, and top finishes in
Paris-Roubaix. Lars, who is 40 years old, will be the Managing Director of
AC Marine.
Tim has a broad background focusing on promptly servicing customers on a
daily basis. Tim is a very dedicated person with a long experience serving
international customers. Tim will be responsible for the fast and accurate
delivery of our AC Marine products. Tim, who is 46 years old, will supervise
all customer purchases and shipments.
Despite the recent financial crises, 2009 was a positive year for AC Marine,
both with respect to result and growth. We would like to take this
opportunity to thank all our partners around the world for a successful
corporation during 2009.
We look forward to continue supporting our customers worldwide in 2010.

GSM/UMTS
We are pleased to introduce a new antenna: GSM/UMTS - this is a dual band
antenna covering 890-960MHz and 1920-2170MHz.

METS 2009
AC Marine is again exhibiting at the annual METS in Amsterdam RAI. Meet us at stand 01.302.
This year the show takes place on 17th, 18th and 19th Nov. The exhibits include equipment, materials and systems for the international marine leisure (superyacht) industry.

Transducers
In august 2007 we made the decision to sell our 40% shares of Airmar Europe back to Airmar USA.
As we had a 6 months termination clause this means the sales of all transducers will stop on 15th february 2008.
One of the reasons being that the sales of the AC Marine antennas continues to grow and we prefer to
100% focus on our own company AC Marine.

METS 2008
AC Marine is again exhibiting at the annual METS in Amsterdam RAI.
This year the show takes place on 18th, 19th and 20th Nov. It has become the biggest and
truly internation marine equipment trade show, where all market leaders together with industry newcomers
are launching thousands of new products every year, exchanging ideas and gaining inspiration for future innovations.

METS 2007
Meet us at METS 2007 in Amsterdam. The only truly global international trade
show for the marine leisure industry celebrates its 20th edition. METS 2007 is the
20th edition of the biggest international tradeshow for the marine leisure industry.
2006 was a blockbuster year with visitor and exhibitor attendance at an all time high.
METS 2007 takes place on 13th, 14th and 15th Nov.

New Product
We are pleased to introduce our new NAVTEX3 antenna.
This is an active receiving antenna specially designed for the Navtex receivers
transmitting on 490KHz, 518KHz and 4209,5KHz.
The NAVTEX3 is only 32cm and easy to install using the standard AC Marine mounting
hardware.
